Gold Hill Trails

We recently (as of 2003) completed the final improvements to the Gold Hill Bike Path which were associated with a National Park Service grant. The new lookout is both scenic and practical ; providing a resting spot at the junction of the trail down to our City Beach Park. Please note that the “Brick Plaza” construction provides a smooth and level surface, making the area ADA compliant as well as accessible to roller blades, baby strollers, etc.

Thanks to Royal and the Public Works staff for their assistance in preparing the area for construction. As always, the improvements were provided at no cost to the City of Gold Hill and were accomplished using Grant funds as well as private donations.
